Ardra Hughes, PT, ScD
I am a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Teacher, and Speaker. I hold a Doctor of Science (ScD) from Texas Tech University Health Science Center and maintain multiple advanced professional certifications. With over two decades of experience as a business owner and healthcare professional, I bring a blend of practical leadership, real-world experience, and evidence-based insight to the A·Game Living methodology. Since 2005, I have successfully led and grown a Texas based business employing more than 20 team members, cultivating a strong culture of collaboration, accountability, and unity. My hands-on leadership style is rooted in real-world experience—guiding diverse personalities, resolving conflict, and building high-performing teams.
My foundation in teamwork and performance began as a collegiate athlete, where I learned firsthand how to balance individual excellence with a team-first mindset. Competing required not only personal discipline and drive, but also a commitment to elevating others—whether in individual events or as part of a collective effort. This experience shaped my belief that true success comes from maximizing individual strengths while contributing to a greater shared goal.
As a practicing physical therapist, I bring both clinical expertise and a strong understanding of the value of collaboration and communication. This unique combination allows me to place Maxwell Leadership principles at the heart of A·Game Living, applying them in practical and meaningful ways through my everyday professional and personal interactions.
I am especially passionate about equipping individuals and business owners to step confidently into their roles and lead with clarity and purpose. I believe in growing individuals for optimal communication, teamwork, and collaboration by focusing on the strengths each person brings—rather than allowing differences to create division. My approach emphasizes unity through understanding, helping individuals and teams leverage diverse perspectives to achieve greater success together.
In addition to my professional roles, I am the mother of two boys, which has further shaped my perspective on the importance of communication, adaptability, and relationship-building. Whether in the clinic, the workplace, or at home, I am passionate about helping individuals better understand themselves and others in order to foster stronger, more effective relationships.
As a Maxwell Leadership Certified Team member, it would be my pleasure to walk alongside you to help you lead powerful, positive change.
